Legal Stuff:
1. By sending us your story, you are granting us a non-exclusive license to post your story on this web page and to publish it in any subsequent media or publication that we may produce relating to th purposes of this Site and its mission, either on the web or in print, in whatever media form you have provided it (video, audio, html, text, etc. . .), and to transcribe any audio portions of that story for posting as well. Specifically, this means that we may use your story or excerpts of it in publications like newsletters, flyers, advertisements, or in printed compilations of these stories and in audio or video media relating to CrossPurposes. We promise not to publish or use your story in a manner that is inconsistent with the message of Christ that we are presenting on this web-site. By non-exclusive, we mean that we do not want to inhibit or restrict you in any way from using your story or publishing it anywhere else. Tell your stories as broadly and to as many people as you can, in as many ways as you can.
2. By sending us your story, you are telling us that it is your original composition, not copyrighted work belonging to some other person, and that you have the right to authorize us to print it. If you have another person's story that you think should be posted, e-mail us and we will be happy to discuss ways that we can ask for permission to post that story as well.
3. By sending us your story, you are agreeing that it can be posted with your full name and the city, state or country in which you live on the internet, and published with your name in any other media form, including but not limited to print media.
4. Editing: We reserve the right to edit stories to fit available space or for any other purpose. If you feel that your story has in some way been compromised by our editing, please e-mail us, and we will attempt to reach a resolution of your concerns. If no resolution can be achieved we will either post your story in full, or remove it from the web-site within a reasonable time.
5. There is no right to have your story published. CrossPurposes will try to publish all stories that are consistent with the message of Christ. However we reserve the right not to publish any story for any reason, and to remove stories from posting at our discretion. If you story is not published or is removed, we will try to communicate with you and provide an explanation, but this does not restrict our right not to publish your story.
6. Removal on request. We will remove stories from our site on the internet on request of the author within a reasonable time frame. However, we cannot guarantee removal of stories that have been provided to us and have subsequently been published in printed or other media.
